The Moe Pipe Organ Co. is a family business. Currently there are two key people involved with outside help
being hired as necessary.
Allen Moe
Owner and key serviceperson Allen Moe began tuning
and repairing pianos in northern Minnesota 1991. Throughout the next
several years, he expanded his services to player pianos, reed organs,
and nickelodeons.
In mid-1995, Allen accepted a position with the Wicks Organ Co. of
Highland, IL. Over the next
9 years, Allen worked in the Wicks factory in Highland learning the art of pipe organ building, while continuing his hobby of
piano and reed organ repair. Allen spent several years working on the service crew for Wicks and was
involved with the tuning and service of over 600 organs of various
builders in the factory territory.
Having worked in many departments of the factory, Allen was
promoted to Director of Research and Development in 1999.
Responsibilities in this position included the testing and
troubleshooting of every Wicks organ before it left the factory.
Through his work experience, Allen has gained an extensive
working knowledge of all the systems that Wicks has employed in their
instruments and as well as many systems used by other builders.

In June 2004, Allen returned to Minnesota to establish the Moe Piano & Organ Co. and act as the official Wicks
service representative for the states of Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
In 2008 the business was changed to Moe Pipe Organ Company.

Suzanne Moe
Business Manager Suzanne Moe holds a Bachelor's
degree from Luther College in Music and Business. Chances
are, she'll be the friendly voice you hear when you call Moe Pipe Organ Company. Suzanne will be handling office work, scheduling, and may occasionally serve as
an on-site assistant to Allen. She will be happy to assist you with your inquiries.
